WHAT’S NO LONGER WORKING?

We need to shift and adjust when things in us or around us no longer work, when we feel out of alignment and emotionally drained.

How do you do that? One step at a time.

The most important thing is to identify what’s no longer working and why. See what feels off, what emotions run through you, what are your thought patterns, and what beliefs have created these emotions and thought patterns.

Occasionally, you will notice that people around you have some impact on how you feel. Do you eliminate these people from your world? This is one option. You can also shift how you see thing – your perception, or change what you do – your actions. Other people can influence you ONLY if you allow them to. You don’t really have control over anyone or what they do, but you can control how you react or behave.

It is YOUR CHOICE how to feel and if you don’t like that feeling or emotion, change it. You may be thinking “it’s easier said than done.” Not really. Once you identify what’s not working, you accept the ‘bad’ feeling and shift your focus to how you want to feel. Look for good things around you, in you, and in others. Do that every single day. Little by little you’ll be able to retrain your brain to focus on and constantly look for things and emotions that serve you well.
