SELF-DOUBT is a habit

Did you know that?

Every time you’re faced with a decision you need to make or something that you don’t have much confidence in, you start hesitating, doubting yourself, looking for excuses and even procrastinating. All these are habits that we have unconsciously created that have become our automated responses.

If you want to feel more CONFIDENT, you need to break the cycle and an immediate take action.

How do you break the cycle?

By inserting an intentional action that takes your mind from the doubt state to the neutral and then empowered state.

This insert can be anything from a physical activity like jumping jacks, your go-to quote or affirmation, counting numbers in your head to a breathing technique. It’s your choice.

Here’s HOW YOU CAN INTERRUPT THE CYCLE – my favorite way.

Whenever you notice that you mind is racing, when you start hesitating or making excuses why not to do something…
… Make yourself stop. Take a deep breath in (3-2-1), hold your breath (3-2-1) and breathe out (3-2-1). Do this 3-4 times. Make sure you actually count 3-2-1 backwards in your mind; this is a mind distraction.
Then, immediately replace the doubt or worry with an immediate action that gets you closer to you what you want to achieve.

Do this every time you start doubting yourself, hiding, procrastinating or otherwise stopping yourself from taking action.
