If even the tiniest part of you feels inadequate, not good enough, undeserving, etc., you WILL criticize yourself, push yourself to do more, try harder or the opposite – stop trying, talk yourself out of things, procrastinate, demand perfection of yourself and others (to compensate the lack), surround yourself with people who criticize and drag you down, stay in relationships (or jobs) that make you unhappy, take every compliment as a chance to manipulate or make fun of you, etc.
